Overview

One binder of photographic prints (and accompanying negatives) taken by J. G. White and Company while consulting on the electric power system of Clear Creek County in 1920.

Biographical / Historical

In 1916, the electric infrastructure in Clear Creek County was sold by the United Hydroelectric Company to the Central Colorado Power Company. In 1920, the Central Colorado Power Company contracted the J. G. White and Company to consult on its transmission system (power grid). The photos that make up this collection come from that consultation, but only include the section of the line that ran from Georgetown to Central City.
