Overview This collection includes the financial accounts of A. B. Clark, editor and publisher of Silver Plume's newspaper The Silver Standard from 1891 to 1907. Most of the accounts highlight the payments made to advertise or publish in the paper.

Addie K. Atcheson Red Cross Papers

Overview In the 1920s, Addie K. Atcheson was the secretary of the Home Service Section, Clear Creek County Chapter of the American Red Cross, located in Idaho Springs. Her papers consist of documents detailing the organization’s work and those they served in the area between 1919 and 1927.

Anderson Family Papers

Overview A collection of material from the Anderson family, particularly relating to the Kneisel and Anderson general store that has been in downtown Georgetown for over 100 years. The papers also include items relating to the Guanella Pass road improvements and the debate around them between 1996 and 2002.

Carol Hunter Empire and Berthoud Pass Research Collection

Overview Carol Hunter collected a large amount of research and reference material relating to Empire and Berthoud Pass in the 1990s and early 2000s. This collection is a mix of original documents and many reproductions/computer print-outs. Particular focuses include historical usage of the area (including historic site/building surveys), research for her Berthoud Pass Auto Tour, and historic and modern photographs.

Overview A major collection of photographs, manuscripts, and ephemera documenting Clear Creek County's history from its mining days to the present. This is currently the archive's strongest photography collection, consisting of hundreds of images from around the county and beyond.

Overview A collection of materials relating to the Clear Creek School District, largely from the Idaho Springs area but also including some Georgetown documents. Sporadic coverage between 1891 and 1992, but most items date between the 1910s and the 1930s.

Doric Gold Mines Limited Records

Overview This collection consists of one large ledger book from the Doric Gold Mines, Limited, with only two pages filled out from 1896 and 1897 relating to account sales of ore. The Doric Gold Mines were located in Georgetown, on Saxon Mountain.
